SIMON MULLIGAN

Simon is simply one of the finest young pianists in the world. Aged 19, he was concerto soloist with Yehudi Menuhin at the Barbican. Described by The Times of London as ''the most abundantly gifted of pianists'', Simon performs and records internationally as a soloist and chamber musician. He has played at Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, the Musikhalle (Hamburg), Tokyo's Suntory Hall, and has performed for Her Majesty The Queen at the Royal Albert Hall. In 2003 he was signed to a six album deal by Sony. He also assisted Michael Kamen with the score on Steven Spielberg's 'Band of Brothers', and his music is featured in the film 'The Target' (Dennis Hopper/Christophe Lambert). Other scoring includes music for 'Full Circle' starring Joan Collins. In 2007, Simon was one of the youngest recipients to be awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Academy of Music.
